What is UP TET or What is the full form of UP TET ?
UPTET full form is Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. UP TET is a state level exam and conducted by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). UPTET is conducted once in a year, to select primary and juniors teacher candidates who are interested in making their career in teaching field must apply for up tet exam.
Basically, there are two papers in UPTET Exam- Paper I And Paper II. Candidates who have plan to teach or want to apply for the class I-V have to give Paper I and those want to teach class VI-VIII have to give Paper II.
UPTET exam is basiically conducted for primary school teachers of UP of class class I-V.
Its not necessary that you can give only one exam , if you want to apply for both papers you can fill the form for UP TET Paper I &Paper II.

On the official website of UPBEB the UPTET Recruitment Notification will be announced. In uptet 2020 exam there are two papers – Paper-I is for the recruitment of Primary Level teachers for class 1 to 5 and Paper-II is for the recruitment of Upper Primary Teachers for class 6th To 8th .

What is the Age Limit to apply for UPTET Exam?
- Candidate must be citizen of India to apply for UP TET exam
- The minimum age limit to apply for the UPTET 2020 exam is 18 years and the upper age limit is 35 years.
- For various categories upper age limit is relaxed.
- For OBC Category Candidates the upper age limit is 38 years. Similarly for SC/ST 40 years and 45 years for person with disability.
UPTET Eligibility Criteria 2020 for Education Qualification

UPTET Eligibility for Paper-I (Primary-Level Teachers)or (Primary Ka Master)
The candidates have to qualify or satisfy any one of the given criteria below to be applicable for UPTET Exam Paper-I:
- Candidate must have clear Graduation degree in any discipline from UGC recognized University/Institute.
- Graduate final year can also apply.
- Candidates should clear their graduation or post graduation degree with atleast 50% marks. Along with this, Bachelor of Education (BeD) must be their.
- Candidates should clear their Graduation or Post Graduation degree with minimum 45% marks. Along with this, Bachelor of Education degree must be pursued.
- Graduation must be required along with BTC in urdu.
- Candidates must be graduated or diploma persuing from Aligarh Muslim University.
- Candidates should have completed their graduation and have degree of Moavill-E-Urdu before August 8,1997.
- Candidate must complete their 12th class with minimum 50 % marks. Along with this, four year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElED) must be completed.
Paper-II – UPTET Eligibility :
- Candidate must have graduation degree and with two years duration DEIED(BTC) must be completed.
- Candidates must clear their Graduation or Post Graduation with minimum 50% of marks.
- Candidate must have completed their 12th class with atleast 50% of marks.
- Candidates must complete their 12th board exam with atleast 50 % of marks. Along with this, four year BElED should be completed by candidates.
- Candidates with minimum 50 % or marks in graduation is needed. Along with this, one – year duration BED should be completed by candidate. Final year candiadate of BED are also eligible to apply.

UPTET Exam has both Paper I & Paper II which contain a total of 150 multiple choice questions (MCQ). For every correct answer 1 Marks is awarded and for wrong answer there is no negative marking.UPTET Paper I consists of 5 sections while UPTET Paper II consists of 4 sections.

Both UPTET Paper I & UPTET Paper II have different marking schemes. Five sections are there in uptet exam and each section consists of 30 question carrying 30 marks ie.
